Post in Napier City, Hawke's Bay Region, New Zealand

Would love to go to Cape Kidnappers and Te Mata peak between 21~23, Feb. No car. No ability to drive. Buses only run 3 times a day to Clive, only half way to Clifton. Buses going towards Hastings won't go close to the start of the track up to Te Mata peak. Any advise or tips are welcome. Thanks a lot!
