hey there! some of my favorite vegetarian restaurants include good karma café, seed, carmo, and max well. also if you follow NOLA Vegans on Instagram they often post different pop-ups around town several times a week. :)

SMALL MART in the Quarter. I just discovered this mini mart. They have kombucha on tap and vegetarian curries, pakoras, and other great snacks (like green tea cookies!)
Pagoda: an outdoor cafe in MidCity. The mushroom empanada is amazing.
1000 Figs : MidCity. Falafel and such. So good. -HiVolt cafe: in the lower garden has a ton of vegan and veg pastries and also great lunch
The Daily Beet: in the CBD or Saint Roch Market

No idea about vegetarian, but hostel-wise St. Vincent's Guest House, no question.

Two of my favorites that haven't been mentioned yet are the Sneaky Pickle and Breads on Oak. Kebab has a delicious and filling falafel and Siberia has an amazing beet burger.
