Big Bus or Bolt Bus About 4.5 hours As cheap as $25 (really! ) Maybe $50 if last minute. Good luck
Mega Bus - if they go to Washington DC. Check internet for MegaBus. Their fares are the absolute lowest.
Yes, as others have stated MegaBus or BoltBus. You can way as low as $1 plus an extra couple of dollars in fees. Depending on when you go and how far in advance you buy your ticket. During the week is usually cheaper..Friday and Sunday tend to be higher. But in advance, can be cheaper. I booked my Christmas tickets earlier in the summer for $3, roundtrip!
You could also check out the chinatown busses. Although I think to DC the above mentioned options tend to be cheaper. Also Megabus etc has the (much) better busses.
Chinatown bus companies have a poor safety record. Greyhound is far superior at a comparable price.
Yes I take that bus and they have wifi and connections for plugging, It took 4 1/3 from chinatown to penn station and it cost 25 dlls
MegaBus! I once rode with them to Boston for $1 each way, plus taxes :)
If you are talking about Washington State , you should booked in Alaska is the cheapest
If going by bus, Greyhound is also cheap & has indoors waiting unlike the cheap options. In NYC, waiting for those cheap options you are waiting on the uncovered sidewalk. I don't remember much about them from D.C. Amtrak us the fastest & very safe as well; even with the supposed rash of crashes. If snowing they're your best option. I've lived innNYC the past 9 years.
Book very early.
You can check on wanderu.com and rome2rio.com to see options too
Greyhound is better quality and surprisingly I've found fares to DC around $16-20 when I booked through their website, so definitely try them!
Just want to be sure you're talking about Washington DC not Washington state...
