you can come to visit Sabah. its located at west of malaysia. you can google it for the rest info . this place would take your breath away. really :D
It totally depends on what kind of a person you are ,if you like to party more or you like to test yourself for things kike hiking and scuba dive? You can always ping me for anu suggestion but I am suggesting you based on the kind of person I am ,I rather go for adventurous avtivities...Assuming you land in Kuala Lumpur and you are in Malaysia for 7 days ....
Spend 2 days in KL and may be genting (half day tour) ,explore Batu caves and a big of the city ,there is a bus facility which takes you to most touristy places ,better avail that ,enjoy Changhat (Night Life) ...depends on your budget as well (Next time you post a question ,do mention you are a budgeted traveller or a luxurious one) ...Once done witk KL ,head to Perhentian (Flights and bus both available from KL ,you cant afford to miss this place,go for snorkeling and scuba dive (if swimwer or non swimmer ,choose acvordingly) ...Come back KL and visit Cameron highlands ,Amazing place and if you want to hike ,its heaven ,just go for Mossy forest short or long hike based on your requirements ..... Practically this is all what you can do in Malaysia in 7 days....if you have more time ,Malaysia is worth visiting for a month or more ,Like i said all depends on your priorities .... You should go to penang and kedah . Good food lot of historical building and lot of rice field . And maybe lagkawi too for the beaches and It's possible you visit all of that place within 7 days.
Salaam. If you landed in Kuala Lumpur head to Malacca. Since its closer to Kuala Lumpur (KL), 2hours plus ride by bus. Historical place, near to coastal area, good food. Same itinerary would be in Penang, 4 hours ride by bus. If you're coming to Penang, I can host you :) If you want cool mountain climate, amazing beaches, jungle fever then head to Sabah (Borneo), near Kota Kinabalu (KK), Sipadan Island. If you can specify what kind of activities or places you'd be interested, you'll get accurate answers.
