Visiting Sorrento next week! :)

Dear people of Sorrento,

I am Mehak and I am an engineer by profession and a very passionate dancer and photographer. I joined the CS community this year in March and it has changed my life. Me and my boyfriend (Sanchit) recently came back from our Europe trip where we did CS for most of the part and we believe it's the best way to meet wonderful people like you. We travelled to - Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary. The hosts we stayed with have become friends for life with us and we bonded with them really well.

CS has been a wonderful experience for us so far and we want to continue the tradition. 😊 We both love to travel and will be visiting Italy for a short vacation in August (Aug 18 – Aug 22) and we are searching for an amazing host around Sorrento.

Here's what we can offer:

Wonderful Indian food: India is known for its rich spices and flavour. We have plenty of great food with us and would love to share it with our hosts.
Warm company: Me and my bf are very easy-going folks. We would like to spend some good, quality time with our hosts over a cup of hot soup, maybe. 😊
Helping around the house: We both are extremely clean and tidy people. We can assure you that we can be wonderful guests and make our hosts feel like family.
Exchanging delightful stories: Since we have been born and brought up in India, we love talking about our culture and the diversity. We would also love to learn about other cultures. That is the whole point why we are on CS.

Last minute request for April 16

Hi everybody.

I´m Trang from Vietnam. I'm living in Spain to study Spanish. I'm an open-minded and easy going person. I like travel, swimming, hiking, movies and spend time with nice friends.

I will be in Amalfi Coast this weekend, on April 16 and will stay there until the night of April 17. I did some request some week ago but seem like people will be busy at weekend so I still not have a couch for that day. Will your place be able for a smiling guy :) If yes, please send me a message!

I never think CouchSurfing is a free hotel. It's a place to share experience and make friend. I had many friends from this fantastic page. I always spend time with host if they have time and want to hang out or do something together. I can share my stories of travelling, our Vietnamese culture...

Dear Italian friends,

I am an Asian American teacher/university professor and professional pianist.

I would like to find friends who could host and/or show me their beautiful city and region when I visit it from August 20 to August 24 or 25.

I am willing to help you with all four English skills (listening, speaking, writing, and reading). I could also teach you Vietnamese (all levels) if you are interested in learning this beautiful language. I could also practice speaking French with you.

I would also be very happy to share a lot of interesting information about the American culture and Vietnamese culture.

I could teach you some basic ballroom dancing if you like.

If you have a piano in your house/apartment, I would be happy to entertain you, your family, and friends with my music.

Hello, three Belgians are arriving today for a camping trip in the south if Italy. I think we might up in Sorrento tonight. (Or somewhere around there). We want to pitch our tent somewhere. Does anybody have a garden/beach/... ;) where we could pitch our tent? Thank you very much!! Oh yeh, and tuesday the Belgians play (world championship), so if anyone wants to watch the game with us, would be fantastic!

Last minute couch request

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the short notice, our plans changed at the last minute, so we have had to move Sorrento up our schedule.

My sister (https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/laurenciantar/) and I are looking for a couch for two nights from the 13th to the 15th. So far we've traveled together from Finland to Turkey and are now touring around the Mediterranean, on our way to Malta to visit family.

We'd really appreciate it if someone from Sorrento or the surrounding area could host us.
