Hey! haha there is one of the weirdest things i´ve seen... haha there is a poppular beach to visit and swim at... just a few minutes south from sayulita , we call it playa los muertos ( be aware that there are two "los muertos" beach one in Puerto vallarta( near the malecon/Lovezone) and the one that im telling you... its called "los muertos" because there is a graveyard on your way to swim...

there are two stories about why the beach from puerto vallarta is called in the same way. The first one is about there used to be one cemetery near, that was removed from next to de beach, to the place where actually is. The second one is about there used to be a graveyard just in front, and there where some really badass rains, and put some of the body floating into the sea.

Hiking to Palo Maria River, Riding by Bike up to the last Vallarta's neighborhoods until the mountain you'll see a good landscape of all the Banderas Bay... take a bus from the oldtown to Boca de Tomates and hiking to until Quimixto (about 2 hours walking) and you will see beautiful beaches.
