Yes, it is no problem. I have made many local Haitians friends since moving to Punta Cana. They often speak about how often ex-pats go to visit their country when they visit Dominican Republic.

Would you do that to stay "legally" here? That's not a problem. You don't need to leave the country for that. You just need to pay a small fine when you leave, that's it
