Hi Sabrina, Its difficult to tell you without a map but if you stick to the more well-off (less poor) area, it is quite safe. (As long as you are in a car or in a public place). Walking anywhere is not recommended. To get to Sun City you have to go through some poor areas but as long as you are in a car you are OK.

Hi James , thanks for your insight, actually I have checked few areas, such as Rustenburg town, cashan , protea park, and Kroondal, but heard Kroondal is not a safe area!! Tho Protea Park is safe ,but way too quiet, and not a convenient area if I wanna buy things by walk since I am not going to rent a car when I am there
