Starting a new life

I'm applying for state jobs in San Luis Obispo County. State positions are more secure and less likely to experience furloughs. If given a conditional offer of employment I will begin my house-search. Thus far I have researched, HUD, HASLO, and Intentional Communities. A place to get ready

Hi, dearest Couchsurfers. My family (5 peeps and I) are coming to town for a wedding on Sunday. We are not spending the night, but we just need a place to get ready: curl hair, do make up etc. And so we don't feel like getting a hotel. All Airbnbs are reserved! Can anyone guide us in the right directions?

What's the best winery for a wine tasting ?

Ride share to SF October 21-23 weekend

I'm going to be driving up to Redwood City (bay area) Friday afternoon and returning on Sunday afternoon if anyone is interested in a ride. I have space for 1-2 people and plenty of room for bags.
