Which hawker centers or hawker stalls are your favorite? Recommended dishes to order? Suggestions on when to go?
I'll be visiting Singapore in November for about a week, and it'll be my first time there. Are there any suggestions or tips locals have on visiting hawker centers (queueing up, when to get there, etc)?
Also, even though this is a common question asked: Which hawker centers (or even favorite places to eat that aren't in hawker centers, can also be restaurants) would be at the top of your list? Looking for all kinds of dishes (seafood, meat, vegetarian, noodles, rice, can be halal or non-halal -- all the above!). I'd like to try various hawker stalls at different hawker centers (depending if I can get people to join me, whether it be more CSers in the area, or people I meet on my trip, so we can split dishes and costs to try more foods!) Just excited to finally travel again! Thank you in advance for your help :)
