I have been there 2 weeks ago, there is no snow right now. And I guess there won't be for the next 3 months..

There is snow at the top as of avfew days before the 16th of September. I saw some photos of a friend up there yesterday. When my husband climbed Erciyes, it took almost all day. He left around 6 and returned 6 or 7 pm.

Since the weather is very hot these days, you should camp in the "Tekir" highland during daytime. You should start climbing at midnight. It will be very cold in the morning. That is why you must approach the summit of the mountain when the sun is rising. For this, it should start walking at midnight, "Tekir" Yaylasi. If you are a beginner, it is helpful to inform us in advance about your climb to the District Gendarmerie. There are three ways you can choose to climb. First: Camel trekking. This road is easy but it is long. You can walk on the left side of the mountain, on the hard ground. The second: Satan Stream. This is where the glaciers are. It's on the right side of the mountain. Third way: "Nesrin Topkapi Passage" I climbed the mountain of Erciyes this way in 2007. It's a short path. But you can have difficulty walking because it is sandy. You should not move the stones down from the ground. It may hit sportsmen from below. If you make a climb to the mountain of Erciyes, I would like to join my son.
