Bonjour, ca va? U can try gudeg which is traditional food from Jogja made of jackfruit. If u like spicy, u can add sambal. Klepon, kue Putu, Onde Onde you can find them at same shop in front of Beringharjo Market (open only in the afternoon start at 3 pm.)
Pecel is kind of salad, mix vegetables with peanut sauce.

If you prefer restaurant where you can try many foods at once, I recommend you :
house of raminten (cheap,cozy and traditional)
gotri (this is very good! You should definitely go)
abhayagiri (if you have extra budget, the view is amazing)
super sambal (expert in many kind of sambals)
But if you prefer one specific food, here are some good places :
sate klathak pak pong (lamb satay, I'll give rating 9/10)
gudeg yu djum
sego gule (javanese curry, a bit greasy)
For dessert, these two are my favorite places :
Kalimilk (expert in milk beverages)
Bowling (fruit bar)

Halo. I recommend you to try Waroeng Ss if you love spicy food. This is indonesian restaurant and also with cheap price. And then you must to try gudeg. Traditional food from yogyakarta. It's sweet but you can add "sambal" to make gudeg spicy. And you can try "Soto" with rices and chicken. So delicious.
Hello, i recomended for you to try "Tahu Kupat", "Brongkos", " Snerek Soup". All is local food in Magelang City closed to Borobudur temple. If you like spicy foods sweet, meaning it is suitable for you. Also you can hangout in Borobudur temple, one of the most in Magelang and also included in the seven wonder in the world.

Well, there are so many Indonesian foods that are absolutely tasty, but personally, I think you should try 'Nasi Padang' especially Rendang which is worldwide famous because of its deliciousness. Moreover, you should also taste 'Sate Padang or Sate Kacang' and 'Mie Ayam', both of these foods are very traditional and very Indonesian. That's all my suggestions, Good luck!

If you want to eat local foods with traditional atmosphere of the place,i'd recommend u to go to Raminten :) I will also recommend you a small but nice resto near Taman Sari the name is "Nggon Koe",they have local foods like tempe,nasi goreng,etc.The foods are nice and not too expensive :)
If you want something javanese...Ibu Ageng is nice place to try, and if you want something nice you should go to Abhayagiri, it is in a top of clif with a nice view...you can see both merapi and prambanan temple.
