Where to park a car for a week?

Hi guys,

I really need help here, I was searching online for hours but didn't find that much and not speaking German doesn't help!

I leave to Zurich tomorrow by car and then take a train to Bratislava to go visit my family for a week. So I need to find a cheap parking place (of course, ideally for free but I start to give up hope) where I can leave a car for a week. It can be wherever close enough and accessible by public transport. Any info will help, adresses, prices, whatever you know.

Try www.parku.ch (cheaper outside the city) or you could buy a day card for 15.- a day in zurich (blue marked parkings) https://e-gov.stadt-zuerich.ch/egpakv/uctagesbewilligung/nutzungsbedingungen.xhtml?handwerker=false How big is your car ?

Hi I'm not sure if this is of any help to you. I know there are a lot of free parking lots on main roads between villages. they are mostly near the woods. Even though it says you can park for maybe 3 days they probably won't take your car, if you stay longer. but I can't promise that. Also, there is a possibility to buy a parking permission for the blue parking lots in certain areas in Zurich. but they cost 15 Fr. /day.

Do you strictly need to park the car on Zurich out do you just need to catch a train at a time when public transport does not work for you?

(Conventionally one would take the car train from Feldkirch to Vienna, then drive to Bratislava)

There is a parking at Allmend (https://goo.gl/maps/FbLvHi8xmLQ2) where you can park your car for 15 hours. But I guess the offer from Erika (employees parking) already solved your problem.

You could also park it in front of our flat (https://goo.gl/maps/GA5Jz1TWYiK2). Nobody will notice. If you like, shoot me a message and we could have a tea if I am around. There is a bus (number 80, stop Lerchenhalde) going to the center and to Oerlikon station.

Lakestreet between zollikon and Erlenbach. Free parkings on the lake side of the street. I parked there for months - just need to change position every few weeks It's also a very safe area Enjoy ;)
