Well when I came out of airport i bought one sim 1 months travlers sim having 10 Gb i guess so far it has been very good its true move -H it costed 900 Bht with putting some extra money for phone it also let you use Fb with a free mode (only images wont be seen) Most of the resurents or cafes you go ask for wifi password and you would be set with it

Actually there are no big difference among three major cell operators here (AIS, True Move, DTAC). I personally prefer AIS – stronger signal, better coverage around Phuket and nearest provinces, affordable price for data and voice.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, but this will be maybe usefull for further enquiries.

Cheapest :

• Go to 7/11, buy a true move sim card, 50 bahts, they will ask for you passport, some 7/11 will told you that this is not possible, insist or find another 7/11 (I did it last week so I am sure it can be) Then you can :

• enjoy the 20 bahts/few megabits of credit included in the sim card

• buy 20-50-100 bahts of credit just to make few phone calls

• buy prepaid internet package (400 bahts, 4gigs), available for 1 month only

All the package are displayed in small cardboards usually not far from the cashier.

This is a great question. I would love to buy a simcard with an internet access for only 3 to 5 days.

I use True and get monthly unlimited 800mb daily for only 349 baht.
