Transfagarasan road and lake Balea

Hi,

I would like to visit Transfagarasan road and lake Balea, but it seems to be impossible to do it by public transport...

Do you have any suggestions what is the easiest way to do it? Or even better, is someone renting a car and has a free seat?

Hi Brina, I'm from Sibiu. The best way to visit Transfagarasan is to come to Sibiu and to rent a car for 40 - 50 euro, and with another 25 euro for gas you can visit in one day Transfagarasan and other places. Also Sibiu is a very nice town to stay and visit. If you will come to Sibiu please let me know and I will help you with some info.

I would like to trevel too , I have my car , so....you just have to say...GO....anytime you want.I was one time just only for a half of way, until Balea lac , but now I would like to go to the end of way , I meen Buc- Curtea de arges-vidraru-balea lac-sibiu-brasov-buc

If it is somewhere between 25-28 I would like to go. I have a Canadian surfer and I would like to show him around something but I don't own a car so it is kind of difficult. We also would come from Bucharest.
