Is it ok to travel to South Africa at the moment because of the draught? Is tourism still useful for the region?

A friend and I are thinking about travelling to Africa for the first time this summer, and while our favorite destination would be South Africa, we are not sure whether it's bad to go there with the draught - would we waste water that's urgently needed for the local population or would it be good to come and spend some money?

Hi how are you doing? What month are you planning to visit? Not all the areas are affected with the draught so it depends where you want to go and see. Regards Adel

Hi Adel-mari, thanks for your response! We are planning to visit in June (European Summer, I forgot to specify that in my question), and we'd love to travel around a bit, spend some time in nature and some in cities, and just getting to know the country. Could you recommend any towns or cities that you like and that are not affected by the draught, or national parks or the like? I hope you're well, greetings
