Hello! I'm Malaysian living in US and planning to visit your city by middle of September.

I would appreciate if you could recommend me places to visit and most importantly the best restaurant in town. I like to know local culture and love history and scenaries. I love seafood and interested to try local cuisine! It would be great if someone can meet-up /show around too!

Places to go:

Castillo san felipe is near to downtown you have to pay to get in but you will get a beautiful view from here and also you can hire a guide to know more about the historic of cartagena.
zapatos viejos is next to the castillo san felipe. Freeg *Reloj publico this as know as the door of the city and also downtown. free
Palacio la inquisicion and also museo del oro both are in downtown
Cerro la popa you have to hire a tour *Cafe del mar is a restaurant above the walls you can watch the sunset from here is amazing. Restaurants : cusco, peru mar for seaafood.

Local cuisine : mojarra ( fish) and patacon (platain) also rice with agua panela (drink). camaron cocktail you can buy it in downtown in a cevicheria named sincelejo. Dont miss "Fritos" in a place named magola next to a supermarket exito.

There is a colonial neighborhood named getsemani and is very popular for backpackers is close from downtown if you are looking for a fancy or luxury place inside of the downtown you can stay there. Also there are many hotel in others good neighborhoods Bocagrande and castillo grande or you can find an rent apatment in manga by airbnb all these places are close to downtwon. Yup! Im in Brazil :) If I can help u with any else let me know! Good trip to my city!!

Hello Minn!! There are a lot of things to do and visit in cartagena de indias! Diferents historical streets!, squares, parks, museumsn an amazing views Of course, our gastronomy is very varied and there are many restaurants to visit and taste their delicious meals

Very Good restaurant to go and eat typical and delicious food : La vitrola

When you come to colombia,. we can look around and hang out! =)
