Summer work and more.
Good evening,
I am Alejo, born and raised in Madrid, now living in Glasgow and trying to figure out where to go next. My profile has quite a bit more about myself so feel free to check it. And kinda hoping this catches the eye of some interesting farmer somewhere!
I have been fighting a wall with what I want or not to do regarding University, and many other things... and have come to the realization that I want to spend a good part of my summer (a month or two between July and October) somewhere where I can have time for work and explore, internally and outdoors! I have bits and bobs of experience in Farms, Hospitality and a bit more than bits and bobs in sailing and boat maintenance, along with quite some experience on whale watching and whale and dolphin identification if that is of any help for anybody.... I feel like I can be an asset if in the right atmosphere! I am quite a hard working person and highly motivated for sustainable and interesting projects all around! My idea was to find a good place anywhere in the world where I could work with vegetables, live pretty much off the land, learn more about surviving off the land and also expand my insight knowledge. Pick mushrooms, learn some natural medicine, land treatment... so many things to learn... And If I could hitchhike to the place and stay there with my dog that would be ideal... Based in Madrid... And preferably looking for a place with some sort of access to the Ocean...Not going to pay for staying anywhere, but more thinking of paying my accommodation and food by my work...
If anybody has any ideas, or suggestions... I would really appreciate any input. Looking forward to hear from you,
