I am cycling to JOG in September and need to make my merry way back to Inverness. Any advice on cabs/buses?!

We're arriving into JOG at some point on Sunday 18 Sept... And pretty much heading straight to Inverness if we can - for a well-deserved beer! (All welcome to join in celebration).

Update Forgot to mention, I'll be having my bike couriered back so I won't have a bike with me!

Yes. It's 16 miles to Wick from JOG. From there you can get a train to Inverness for £12.50 and should be able to put your cycle on the train.
Phone Scotrail on 0344 811 0141 to ask if you need to make a reservation.

There's a train at 11:58 on Sundays, and it takes 4h15 to get to Inverness. There are no other trains until Monday morning!

You could try hitch-hiking - it won't be that easy with a bike, but I reckon it would work eventually...

Thanks everyone, great advice!

The train from Wick seems like the most logical and quickest route although I may have trouble with Sunday trains. Perhaps hitchhiking is the answer!!
