there are certain dining places in Delhi which offer spectacular music and dining experience specially on New Year's. You can go to Connaught Place in Delhi and go for Open Terrace Restos. They have parties and an overall good experience. There are several parties with passes being organised in Delhi on New Year's. You can go to Lavaash by Saby for a candle light dinner experience..

Gunta, that all depends what you want to do and how you would pass your evening. Near CP (Connaught Place) you can get all kinds of dining options, also there are pubs and in each hotel they are having new year eve events with gala dinner. If you want to roam streets nearby and want to enjoy the eve in open you can move around India gate, even CP is also a good option to roam around. One thing you must have to book ur seat in advance for any event organized by any hotel or group. There are several rock concerts too in the city. Hi Gunta, Sanchit is right. Lot's of parties in Connaught Place. Best to be near your Hotel. It would have been ideal to be in Goa or that side of India to really enjoy some warm weather, but you will have to make the best of what is on offer in Delhi. If you would indicate what you really like as in price range, food, drinks, music, ambience and crowd would be able to suggest something specific. Please feel free to ping me. Cheers Roopak

I'd say go out of Delhi, Like Jaipur or Rishikesh, you will have better time

Hangout in South Delhi, Try Hauz Khas Village, If you are pub and restaurants street lover (not very far from Connaught Place). If you like crowd then go to India Gate (Close to CP). If you would like to experience the amazing night view of Delhi then should experience the rotating top tower restauant in Connaught Place named as Parikrama.
I would recommend Hauz Khas Village more than CP. But I bet it's going to be crowded as hell and you'll have a hard time finding a dining place, so make arrangements before hand.
Connaught Place is good to walk around and then join some parties happening.
If you are in a group, you might wanna go and explore Downtown, Gurgoan. It's about 30-45mins from Hauz Khas Village. Use Uber!
