Traveling Israel, Palestine, Jordan

Hello, my name is Erhard from Mexico, and will be going with my wife Mariana on vacations to Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Egypt and would like to ask you kindly your advice about the following issues:

We are arriving to Tel Aviv on and so we want to spend some 2 nights there to know the city. Then go to Jerusalem and stay there a few days. 1.- question: Do you think to take a bus is easy or should we buy them in advance on Internet?

Then visit Bethlehem one day or any other recommendation from you. Maybe visit Ramallah? We would love to see Palestine, any recommendation to do some nice and safe couple of days? Then we want to go to Jordan, to Amman the capital.

2.- Question: Which do you think is the easiest and maybe cheaper way to cross the border to Jordan. And

3.—Would you know if at the border we can get our tourist visas to Jordan? Then from Amman we want to go south to Petra and Wadi…

4.- Question: Do you think we can get safe public transportation from Amman to Petra? And then after visiting Petra, continue south to Eilat and then cross to Egypt by Taba to get to El Cairo.

What we love to do, rather than visiting the most touristic spots (some of them yes of course) is to get to have an idea of what regular life is like in the capital city and the country side, the villages, and meet the locals...

Any recommendation? Do you know how crossing borders between Israel and Palestine are going on? Is it safe? Any place you would not recommend to go? Sleeping with the beduins at Jordan?

Do you have any recommendations or tips? Thank you very much in advance for your attention and help and our best regards

Erhard & Mariana
