New Grad Nurse moving to the area - any advice?

My husband and I are both new grad nurses who will be looking for jobs in SLC soon. We would love any advice you have or if you know of any floors hiring new grads for January we'd love to hear about that too.

I worked up there for Intermountain, they have a bunch of hapotials, so hopefully one would hire new grads. Also have the University hospital. Good luck! Beautiful area!

I'm a new grad physical therapist, working PRN at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful. I don't know if they have openings, but I can tell you I live in the Sugar House neighborhood and it's a ~25minute commute to the hospital and traffic isn't bad since it goes the opposite direction from my route. It's a great little Level 3 trauma center with lots of brand new renovations, such as the ICU, PCU, and Cath Lab. I'd recommend it as a first job, not too intense and a very friendly working community. It's at least worth a look.

Thanks, Seth! I hadn't really thought of looking outside of SLC so that is really good advice, especially as I am not as familiar with the area. I appreciate your help!
