I am hoping to help this project with a dear friend of mine and do a documentary after and donate funds to CS site ... let me know if you are interested...

Basically what the story will be on is CS and the experience.And that travellers can band together and raise awareness and share dreams and hopes as well as their couches/sofa's.It is about sharing life and stories and their bliss.

what we came up with is to recieve at least a postcard from everywhere in the world we are able...and if it all has the same saying then it shows unity....if you can come up with a great saying please do so and let me know.Hopefully after one year (starting may 1st) we can pick one from each country or city and do a documentary on CS and the postcard adventure and donate money to this project or like a fund to help travellars if they need medical help, lost, need funds to get home, eat ... etc.... It would be amazing if we could get sofa or couch postcards.... however as many postcards as we can recieve in just any kind of postcard as long as it says "live a life of bliss", or something that refers to couch surfing....

also postcards can be homemade and recyclable if you wish.

lots of love and you have made me so happy and full of hope.After we start building the wall of postcards then i will be taking pictures of it and e-mailing those who have helped.

a story will be published thru out all the free press affiliates in north america and then will ask that funding be raised to help keep the site going.... our end goal is to interview founder of CS and make couch surfing post cards that can be sold through the founder hopefully and all proceeds to go back to his site. Also to make documentary of people on CS and a book of all postcards and the purchase of it will be donated back into CS.

I am in love with this site and the joy and sharing it can bring to people.You are the beginning of the journey....

Postcard for life! :)

Hello friends! I had an idea, and I hope that you will share it with me and take part in it. I know one family, a big family, where there are many children, a strong marriage, and they are very kind to each other, and to others. And now they have a very difficult period - their dad fell ill very hard. He was diagnosed with cancer. They have already been fighting for about a year with this disease, and most of all they are trying to fight with mental pain and emotions. Recently, the family has been significantly losing ground, treatment leads only to worse results - their dad feels worse, but even worse, that he is morally depressed. His children and his wife are desperate, they find it difficult to find the right words for him, and even more so for themselves. Who passed a difficult period in life, he understands how it is and how important moral support is. So I had an idea and I ask you to support me in this: please, if it's not difficult for you, send a postcard for this family, or personally for Roma (this is the guy, dad and husband). Write, please, at least a couple of words, or just a postcard with an inspiring picture. Let them feel that they are not alone, that they are supported from all over the world! I believe that your kind words, encouragement, something inspiring will give them strength and struggle and believe in the best. And positive emotions and spiritual support will do their miracle!

Hi,

I'm a Graphic designer and I'm finishing my master this year. This is the final project. I want to make atypical postcards of different cities and places. I would love to have your help with this!

I'm looking for rooms with a view (only inner courts or walls). It's really important to show me your inner court or a close wall and not the streetview. I'm looking for atypical views, they don't need to be beautiful or charming.

Afterwards I'll rework the pictures and design different postcards with it.

This is not usual request, but I'm making suprise video and instead of postcards, there will firstly be a World map and after that from each country there will be your photo with signed paper for him, or video, wishing him Happy Bday...so I would KINDLY beg you, if you have a few minutes, please record a video of you saying this, or if it's easier for you - take a picture with you and a signed paper with these words (you can be in your room or standing wherever you want!) :
