Looking for non-smoking hosts and/or friends in in Portugal and Spain for the period from August 12th to September 3rd (going back to Boston on September 3rd).

Dear friends,

I am an Asian American teacher/university professor and professional pianist.

I would like to find friends who could host and/or show me your region/city/town/village when I visit Spain and Portugal for the FOURTH TIME from August 12th to September 3rd.

++ Here is my tentative plan for my trip to Portugal and Spain this year:

From August 12th to August 16th (leaving on August 16th), I plan to visit Lisbon, some cities/villages/towns near Lisbon, Sintra, Montemor-O-Novo, and Torres Vedras.
From August 16th to August 23rd (leaving on August 23rd), I plan to visit Figueira Da Foz and Coimbra (from August 16th to August 18th). After, I intend to visit Porto and its surrounding cities/towns/villages including the Douro Valley Region from August 18th to August 23rd (leaving on August 23rd).
From August 23rd to August 24th (leaving on August 24th), I plan to visit Guarda briefly.
From August 24th to August 30th (leaving on August 30th), I plan to visit and use Salamanca as the "travel headquarter" of my visit in Spain. I intend to explore Salamanca for the first two days. Then, I intend to take "one day trips" to Valladolid, Segovia, Sepulveda, Avila, and Madrid from Salamanca.
From August 30th to August 31st (leaving on August 31st), I plan to return to Guarda and continue visiting it and its surroundings.
From August 31st to September 2nd (leaving on September 2nd), I plan to go to back to Porto. I intend to continue exploring Porto and its surroundings including the Peneda-Geres National Park.
From September 2nd to September 3rd (leaving on September 3rd), I plan to travel back to Lisbon and continue exploring it. I will fly back to Boston on September 3rd early in the morning.

I am a responsible, friendly, polite, respectful, honest, considerate, and appreciative guest. I will not mess up, damage, and steal anything in your apartment/house. :-)

I could practice speaking English, French, and Vietnamese with you if you like.

I would also be very happy to share a lot of interesting information about the American culture and Vietnamese culture.

If you have a piano in your house/apartment, I would be happy to entertain you, your family, and friends with my music.

In exchange, when I visit your city/town/village this summer, maybe you could host and/or show me your city/town/village and/or some other parts of your region.

Looking for non-smoking travel companions for the period from August 13 to September 4 in Portugal and Spain.

Dear friends, I will be travelling alone during the period from August 13 to September 4.

It would be fantastic to spend some good time or travel together with some interesting non-smoking travel companions who have similar interests during my trip. I am sure we will learn a lot from each other's culture, language, and travel knowledge.

I am posting below my itinerary and things I would like to do during my trip for your references.

I would like to use Lisbon as the base/headquarter of my trip.

First, I plan to visit Lisbon and cities around it (Sintra, Queluz, Mafra, Ericeira, and Torres Vedras) from 8/13 to 8/16 (4 days and 4 nights).

Then I would like to visit the South of Portugal (Faro, Olhao, Lagos, Portimao, Sagres, Cabo de Sao Vicente, Praia da Luz, Praia da Roche, and Silves ) from 8/17 to 8/20 (4 days and 4 nights).

Then, I plan to go back to Lisbon on August 21.

After, I plan to visit Peniche, Obidos, and Caldas da Rainha from August 22 to August 24 (3 days and 2 nights).

Then, I would like to visit Porto from August 24 to August 27 (4 days and 4 nights). During this period, I would like to visit some cities/towns around Porto (Viana do Castelo, Barcelos, Amarante, Vila do Conde, and Ponte de Lima).

After, I plan to visit some Western coastal cities in Spain (Baiona, Vigo, Pontevedra, and Santiago de Compostela) from August 28 to August 31 (4 days and 4 nights).

I plan to return to Porto on September 1.

On September 2, I would like to visit Viseu from Porto.

Finally, I plan to return to Lisbon on 9/3 and fly back to Boston on 9/4.

I am a friendly, energetic, enthusiastic, thoughtful, warm, clean, honest, and funny woman who is eager to learn about your beautiful country, people, and culture. During this trip, I would love to meet non-smoking hosts/friends and spend a lot of good time with them in exploring their city/town/village and region.

During this trip, I would like to visit beautiful beaches, islands, music and arts festivals, botanical gardens, castles, mansions, palaces, parks, natural places (waterfalls, rivers, mountains, volcanoes, valleys, hills...), places of worship (churches, mosques, temples, synagogues, shrines), monasteries, and convents.

I also would like to explore interesting non-touristic places in these cities/towns. I love multicolored and ornate architecture with floral patterns. I love buildings and houses with vivid colors.

In addition, I would like to visit fine/visual/performing arts, textile/costumes/clothes, and crafts museums.

Furthermore, I would love to share my music with my future hosts/friends if I could play piano at some public places and/or someone's house/apartment.

2 weeks in Spain Portugal - How should i split?

Hello beautiful CS community,

We are a couple from San Diego, California and we are planning to visit Spain and Portugal for 2 weeks. How should we divide our days? Any recommendations are appreciated. We will be staying in Hotel/Airbnb/CS. Really appreciate if someone is willing to host us. It would make our visit memorable if we could spend more time with locals.
