𝑷𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕 ! Welcome to my page✨ My name is Anju 👩🏻🦱🇯🇵 I’m a friendly, curious, easy-going, calm, and adventurous person who loves traveling! Starting in January 2026, I’m traveling solo around the world. This journey feels like the second chapter of my life, and I have very special feelings about it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have given up my stable job. I’m so excited to finally step out of my comfort zone and embark on an adventure I’ve always dreamed of🌏🎒 I hope to move to another country outside Japan within 1-2 years, but I’m still in the process of discovering who I am. To help with that, I use Couchsurfing — I want to meet people from all over the world, hear their stories, gain new perspectives, and enrich my life. I love exploring new cultures, trying different foods, and connecting with locals to experience the authentic vibe of each place. All of these bring me so much joy ♥️ ⚠️Safety note: For safety reasons, I usually don’t stay with or meet people who have fewer than 10 references or no references from female surfers. I’m quite small and not physically strong, so I try to be cautious and set clear boundaries in advance. I’ve had some uncomfortable experiences in the past when I was in vulnerable situations, which is why safety is very important to me. I hope you understand that this is not personal. By the way, i don’t drink Alcohol. I also receive many messages every day, so I reply selectively and thoughtfully. Thank you very much for your understanding 🌱
CURRENT MISSION To unite diverse voices so we can serve and celebrate life together. ABOUT ME I have been an International Coordinator out of Tokyo for the past 10+ years and have guided cross cultural educational exchanges around the world for high school and university students. Some trips have been to Belize, Costa Rica, Haiti, India, Martinique, France, Utah, Nevis/St.Kitts, Peru, Puerto Rico, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania and most recently, Cuba! Sometimes I am a performing artist, singing and acting on stage. I love languages and speak French, Bambara, intermediate Spanish, beginning Japanese and dabble in other languages. I have worked over the years in positive youth development, non-violent communication and even environmental awareness in West Africa, India, the Bay Area of San Francisco. In SF, my teaching was complimented with live musical performances for over a decade using the accordion and performing with other educators. I like to swim, snorkel, scuba, run, bike, hike, dance, ski and snowboard. I was a Rotary World Peace Fellow in Tokyo, a volunteer with the U.S. Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa, and a team leader in AmeriCorps N-Triple-C in Washington, D.C. In the past I have taught English in France, Taiwan and currently in Japan and I have enjoyed volunteering in Sri Lanka as part of my thesis research, along with study and volunteering which took place in Peru in the Cuzco area and also within the community of Infierno in Puerto Maldonado within the Amazon basin. PHILOSOPHY Do unto others as you wish them to do unto you. Strive to enjoy life as much as possible and seek to be engaged, active and learning all the time. Collaborate with others on adventures of a lifetime, make new personal and professional discoveries, projects and find friends that fuel your soul (a challenge for me lately). Creativity and sharing always adds to the beautiful colors of our lives.
Hi, my name is Yoshikazu Ryuno. I lived in Tokyo and moved to Chiba city. It is about 40 minutes from Tokyo, Asakusa and Akihabara to my house. I'm a researcher(so called MSL) in Pharmaceutical company. But I work at remotely almost everyday, because MSL doesn’t work at laboratory. Hi! I’m Saori from Japan 🇯🇵 I’m a traveler, calligrapher, and engineering student who loves meeting people from different cultures. about me: * I can do traditional Japanese calligraphy. * I practice hula dance. * I have experience in karatet. * I love cooking and sharing meals with people. * I love long walks and exploring new places. * I’m always excited to learn something new! -i’m not good at speaking English, but Domy best! -I am Couchsurfing beginner. I have traveled all around Japan by myself, hitchhiked across the country, and even traveled alone across Taiwan from north to south. I love adventures and spontaneous experiences that connect me with local people. My greatest passion is Japanese calligraphy. I’ve been practicing it for over 15 years and love creating calligraphy portraits of the people I meet. Every portrait is one of a kind, and I enjoy giving them as gifts to express my gratitude and celebrate our encounter. I’m an engineering student, I studied abroad in Avignon, France. I deeply love Japanese culture and enjoy sharing it with others. I often bring small Japanese souvenirs ! I don’t use Couchsurfing as a free Airbnb. For me, it’s a place to share stories, cultures, and unforgettable moments with amazing people around the world. If we meet, I hope we’ll become friends rather than just host and guest. See you somewhere in the world! :)

Please excuse me, I’m a beginner at English🥲 ❤︎Films…Studio Ghibli (Especially Nausicaä, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky) ❤︎Musicals…The Gratest Showman, Les Misérables, JCS ❤︎Anime…Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan,Gintama ❤︎Cycling…Just chill rides on a city bike🚲 ❤︎Novels…Some japanese modern literatures I love Japanese culture, especially the beauty of language. (Even for native speakers, Japanese can be really tricky!) I enjoy thinking about things like: “Why is this word expressed this way?” “What does this place name mean?” “Why does this kanji have such a shape?” If you’re interested in these kinds of topics, I’d love to try explaining them in English… even if it’s a bit of a challenge for me! 😂 Thank you for reading all the way through! If you’d like to send me an email to request a stay, please tell me what your name means in your language and culture. I’d love to learn about it. Also, I studied the Japanese tea ceremony in high school, so I can prepare matcha for you. If you’re not a fan of bitterness, don’t worry—I can mix it with milk to make it gentler! 😆🥛
Living in Japan since 2012.(It was supposed to be just 6 years but I got planted here). I like meeting people from around the world and listening to their stories. So tell me about the most interesting thing you have seen while traveling!
I love traveling. Meeting new people is exciting. And I want to eat food from all over the world.
