The romantic and à la beat phrase above is what I had scribbled down back in 2007 while signing up for CS. And it is still as true as can be. However, I guess years and events have shown their effect on me; and I feel I've evolved into a more settler persona who longs to take roots (but still loves to travel as much as ever). I love to live my life unadorned, graceful and humble. On another aspect, I feel both very eclectic and free-spirit (albeit the vagueness of the term) but also traditional, well, in my way.. I live to experience and I travel to get perspective! I'm a happy Swedish girl who loves traveling, have done a lot of it over the years but still have a lot to go =) I love doing things in general! I get a lot of energy and positive feelings by hanging out with other people, but I can also really enjoy me time. I like spontaneous invitations and I am an easy person to bring to different partys/gatherings. Question for you: Do you dive or walk into the water? Fire fighter dad with two kids. Not very active here any longer. As you may have noticed. Update (aug 2019) Currently preparing to be a fire fighter. (Feb 2017) Currently studying Geography back home in Sweden, Stockholm. One has to use the opportunity for free education here, although I probably would´ve liked to be somewhere else. Hi everyone, and welcome to my page. I'm working on a large construction project and studying Swedish at school. I'm an avid traveler. Despite my full-time schedule, I often travel just on weekends. As of now, I'm only three countries away from completing my journey across the entire European continent. I like nature and hiking, and often go outside the city. I love spending time outdoors hiking in the woods, climbing rocks, and taking a dip in lakes or rivers. I'm also a big fan of team sports like basketball, hockey, and football. I'm open to new acquaintances. I travel alone often but it will be very nice if one day we go on a trip somewhere or spend time together. I have already gone hiking with some guests if you have a desire during your stay in Stockholm, we can go for a day walk. I also enjoy swimming and relaxing in the sauna. I'm ready to join various activities during my trips. Just tell me, and we will spend time together For me, CS is not a way to travel cheaply. CURRENT MISSION Meet new people, keep exploring, and collect good stories along the way. I've lived in Sweden for 13 years, and in Stockholm for the last 5, where I work as an aerospace engineer. On weekdays you'll usually find me at work, but outside of that I enjoy spending time with friends, exercising, being in nature, or joining spontaneous music jams with my handpan, djembe, guitar, or whatever instruments people bring. I'm happiest outdoors, whether that's hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming in a lake, skiing in winter, or relaxing in a sauna followed by a cold plunge.
