July 2025 I can't host for a few months because I left France (I am on a 10 month trip around the world). March 2025 I am again hosting guests. I have stopped hosting for a few months, because I was taking care of my mother who was very sick (Charcot disease) . I stopped working and I lived with her to accompany her during her last weeks on Earth .... She passed away last December. _____ I am an easy-going , sociable and friendly French girl who loves meeting new people and sharing experiences. I am open-minded and love all the simple things that life can offer.
FEMINIST, VEGAN, ANTI-RACISM 🌈 Hey guys 🌻 I am Niko, which comes from the German name of Santa Claus 🎅. I grew up in Saarbrücken, a small town close to France, and studied Anthropology and Languages and Cultures of the Islamic World in Köln. I also lived in Türkiye for more than a year and learnt quite a bit of Turkish 🇹🇷. I am very spontaneous (maybe a bit too much 🦭) and very curious, I love traveling and learning about people's lives. So far, all my CS meetings have been amazing and often turned in long-lasting friendships. I am super-flexible and adaptable, so I am mostly comfortable with any situation 🤸. I used to smoke weed everyday, but I haven't used weed, cigarettes or alcohol for almost half a year now (and I am still fun!) 👮. My mission for this year is to gain more experience working as a journalist. I wanted to move to Beirut in March of 2026 but had to change my plans due to the 🇺🇸🇮🇱 attack on 🇮🇷. So instead, I want to go to Kurdistan / eastern Turkey and work as a journalist from there. I will publish my research on social media mostly 🕊️. I have been interested in journalism and the WANA region for a long time. While living and traveling in Turkey, Iran, Kurdistan, Morocco, and Oman, I met so many good people and felt frustrated that their stories are not told in our media. That's how I decided that I want to be a foreign journalist 🦥📝. My goal is to talk to people, to learn about their experiences and their stories and to understand different perspectives. I believe that I can learn from everyone that I talk to and I want to understand how you see the world 🗺️. My biggest passion is - you guessed it- traveling. Other than that, I really enjoy cooking, my friends always suggest that I should get my own cooking show 🐒. Unfortunately, in the last two years, I didn't have my own kitchen and I miss it to much. I have been (mostly) vegan for five years and I am very happy to share advice and good recipes 🐋. I also like reading and I am interested in many different topics: Anthropology, languages and linguistics, intersectional feminism, animals, (geo)politics, and human rights 🧩. I also love nature and outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, biking and swimming. I love ice bathing, and I like lakes and mountains much more than the sea ⛰️. I love german oldschool hip hop 🎤. My number for WhatsApp: +49 1578 1772246 Instagram: manuzkrypt
Hi everybody, my name is Rüdiger and I am a radiologist . I am married to a man (Andreas), which is luckylie possible in Germany.
I'm open-minded and spontaneous, love to travel and to discover new places, to make new experiences and to meet new people. I love the peace of the nature, as much, as I love action and adrenalin. My mission is to live life to the fullest and I feel like traveling is the best way to learn about life and witness the beauty of the earth. That's why my life goal is to visit every single country in the world. Mindufully and conscious So far I made it to 74 countries on 6 continents.

I just moved into a new city for uni, so I am not sure yet if I can host here since I have a flatmate but I will update my profile soon :)
Hi, I’m Manuel! I'm a Music and French student living in Saarbrücken, Germany. I love meeting interesting people, which is why I’m excited to use Couchsurfing again this year. Four years ago, I traveled to France and Spain and tried it for the first time, which was great experience. For me, the most fascinating part of traveling is connecting with locals and getting a glimpse into what daily life is like in their hometown. My favorite things to do are playing music (guitar, piano, and singing), dancing Bachata and Salsa, and learning new languages. I’m currently practicing my Spanish because I’m planning a trip to Spain with a friend during the first two weeks of September. I’d describe myself as easygoing, social, and always up for hanging out or sharing a good cup of coffee.
Everybody likes to write stuff like I'm open-minded, I like to travel, meet new people and so on...well, I guess that's the reason why people participate in CS. I’m a cameroonian girl who tried Couchsurfing for the first time in 2018 in Germany and I absolutely loved the experience.
I lost my account and all my references. I used many times Couchsurfing (host/gast and hangout/meetings) and I come back to meet other people here in my new home, in Germany. I live here since 2021 and I work as physical therapist. I really would like to do new experiences using this amazing opportunity. I'm a physiotherapist of south Italy working in Saarbrücken, friendly and over-mind, always curiose to know new people and places. If you would send me a message for host you, start the message with this keyword: Happiness! So i ll know that you read all my profile! No copy/paste text of message!
Hey Surfers, welcome to Saarbrücken! Just send me a dm and enjoy your beautiful accommodation in our city. Your host loves backpacking and is very interested in alternative ways of thinking and life. The apartment is located in a chilled area - just 10-15 minutes to everywhere you need to go ;))
I’m currently on an exciting trip through Eastern Europe, exploring as much of this amazing region as I can. I’m a passionate traveler who loves discovering new places, especially in the nature. I love meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning about life from a local perspective. Looking forward to connecting with great people along the way and hopefully sharing a good conversation:)
I am travelling since I was 15. It is my determination obviously. Starting with cycle trips inside Germany. Then hitchhike criss cross Europe. First Interrail trip to Morocco in 1986. With an old Volkswagen to Turkey in 1988. My longest journey was a bicycle-trip from Bavaria, Germany to Capetown, South-Africa between 1997 and 2001. From December 2015 to November 2016 I went on a road trip to India with my 30 year old Nissan Patrol 4x4. In September 2017 I started another road trip with the same car to Iran, Pakistan, India and Nepal, returned in July 2018. Travelled and explored more than 80 countries on four continents by foot, bicycle, train, bus, horse, camel, canoe, boat, ship, donkeycart, motorcyle, car, Offroadvehicle or microlight. Some countries I visited several or even many times. I live in my own house in the outskirts of Saarbrücken. My money I am earning as primary school teacher.
I'm working on my second film, here the details: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnvqjr5fp99YGy8EEey9t2x5U_WD1751S&si=0KiPuGNA5adtl6ge I love traveling, sometimes I prefer the journey to the actual destination. I like to admire the nature in all its shapes to the point that I really feel part of it, and I suffer for what humans are doing to it. I believe I haven't seen anything yet, even if I traveled all Europe (which I adore by the way). I also love progress and technology. I like to discuss about politics and the future of society. Through CS I want to get to know different cultures and people. I love diversity and hate conformism. I love spending time both in company and with myself, therefore I don't mind traveling alone. When surfing, I like to be really dynamic and explore the place thoroughly, better if with my host. When hosting, I like to get to know my guest and spend time with them as much as I can, and show London around. More about my profession and passions: I'm a professional musician/songwriter, composer, and music teacher. My passion? Writing music! PHILOSOPHY I think we are all one and it's time we understand that only cooperation and mutual help, instead of competition and war, can save us from destroying ourselves and the environment. Sharing resources and the complete abandonment of money can be the way forward, as Zeitgeist movement suggests. Another way can be the assurance of an unconditional income for everybody on Earth as Federico Pistono and his fantastic book "Robots will steal your job, but that's okay" suggests... watch on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYIfeZcXA9U And: https://konoz.io/courses/557c2080800ebc8c66c62661/components/YOUTUBE-sc1Gbdy92uY And: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vnB16E36EQ
