CURRENT MISSION Let the sunshine in your life! ABOUT ME Life is beautiful and full of colours. I grow up behind the wall in East Germany and I am really happy that I can travel and enjoy to be free. Now I am married with Christian and we have one beautiful daughter, Julie, born in Oktober 2013 and one son Lukas, born in April 2017. we were traveling through the world from February 2014 to August 2015 and from August 2017 till July 2019 :)))) PHILOSOPHY Love people and love to be a part of the universe.

Update on December 27th 2019: Moved back to Münster. February 4th in 2019 Update: I am now at the airport of Frankfurt and already overwhelmed by the Brazilian hospitality!!! Without even asking for it I have been offered to be shown around as well as couches by so many people in Rio that it would take a lot of time to answer everyone. I already do have places to stay. Anyway, I hope to meet some of you in real life! Muito obrigado to all of youl!!! Finding the right balance between persuing future goals and living the moment is my current mission....update: Right now: Living the moment and eventually beginning to use this account. Otherwise I try to not use social media too much. Never couchsurfed so far. Only hosted once quite a long time ago when I still had my own apartment. Just quit my job to leave everything behind and go travel for an undetermined period of time. Lived to work in surgery for several years. After specializing in orthopaedics and trauma surgery I most recently worked as a head of an orthopaedic rehab department in the South of Germany. One of the best parts about it was to have the alps close by. After years of a structured, well planned and goal oriented life I am looking forward to letting myself float now. I feel free as never before. I do want to settle down one day - when the feeling is right. No aim to travel as many countries as possible. I rather stay in a nice place with good people as long as it is fun and benefitial for everybody or until I feel the wanderlust again. Don´t worry! I will try to sleep on different couches if I should stay longer than a couple of days in one place! I do aim for living life to the fullest and for having a good time - exploring cities and nature, partying, doing sports, having philosophical conversations, being creative, coming up with the next big thing:) or just laughing about the irony of life. I am looking for people who want to share those good times with me - people to laugh hard and to do crazy, fun and adventurous stuff with. Nevertheless, if there is any need for it I enjoy to help and solve problems too. And I am a quite experienced listener. I start my journey as a solo traveler on the West Coast in Portland. As mentioned before my plan is to not plan too much. Though, I do have a few things on a list that is going to be in a steady change: Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Sequoia, Yosemite, Canyonlands, San Diego. I tried to get tickets for Burning Man - with a true interest in the philosophy behind it.

I am currently living between different cities: Köln (my hometown in Europe), Münster where my boyfriend lives and sometimes Munich where I work.
