2026/27 : Currently traveling in Southeast Asia. I cannot accommodate anyone at the moment I firmly believe that the best way to discover a culture is to stay with a local family. A few important things to know: I don’t eat meat 🥩; I can't drink cow milk 🐄🤮, and I’m already in a relationship.

Always in for a good chat, a drink, a laugh, a board game, .. I like to do something crazy from time to time.. always acting normal gets boring after a while ;).

CURRENT MISSION "Sit back and relax" - or learning how to do that ABOUT ME Born and raised in Brugge, but moved to Wevelgem, south of West-Flandres. Of course I love to travel, but I'm always happy to come back here too. I have a boyfriend, Frank, we also travel together. Or alone. I have been on Couchsurfing since June 2006, together with my son, Frank and his kids are new to it, but love the whole idea. Frank is a well-experienced traveller, who spent lots of time in India, Nepal, Australia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, New Zealand, Cambodia, USA, Canada, Turkey, Norway,... In short: he traveled a LOOOOT more than me! He is coaching basketball to teenagers, but his "real" job takes place in an office with International Dispatching, he lives and works near the French border. He's a good cook, enjoys sports and the outdoors, and loves sauna. PHILOSOPHY My house is a place where I like to be, but I love to go away and return to it. Opening my heart and house gives meaning to my current life and helps me broaden my mind. We are apparently not ready for what we think we are looking for; give a person what he wants and he will not want it anymore, give him rest and security and he will get bored. Honesty is such a lonely word. Speak your mind. It may hurt for a while but then it will always make sense and keep the respect intact. Life is too short for grudges.

Peaceful and openminded. I love the authenticity, natural, simplicity, human contact and especially to live the moment present.

I'm Zayd, a 25-year-old French university student and Scout, currently travelling around the world on my own, mainly by hitchhiking. I love meeting people, discovering different cultures and sharing simple moments — a meal, a walk, a conversation or a story. ABOUT ME We have two sons, LOUIS (25) back from Film School in Montreal and world famous Youtuber but the "master of the house" is ANDRE - now 12 year old - so we are not always available to do things with you... If you are a video game player (Call of Duty, Fortnite, Zelda, Valorant, TABS etc.) you can always challenge him :-) Apart from that, we're pretty easygoing and are old travelers ourselves - we've been living three years in a backpacker's in New-Zealand... as well as five years in the South-Pacific (Nouvelle-Calédonie and Lifou island) PHILOSOPHY We're easygoing... obligations and duties tend to spoil the fun :-) We want you to feel at home and comfortable and don"t want to impose anything on you... if you want to have dinner with us, feel free to do so, if you're dying to go and explore the Lille nightlife, feel free to do so, if you"re tired and just want to crash the couch, just tell us and we'll leave you alone, if you're dying to update your Facebook profile or catch up on your email, we won't mind...
