I'm an artist/video gamer/boardgamer A self proclaimed foodie. I love meeting new people, enjoying the simplicities in life and traveling to new places to explore. I believe in trying everything at least once in my life to experience everything life has to offer and consider myself a pretty open minded person. My art can be found on www.instagram.com/michymichellebelle GOAL: 3 Countries minimum a year and meet the awesome people residing there :-)..learning their cultures and getting intertwined with their worlds. ***FOR THOSE LOOKING TO BE HOSTED!** We are accepting guests!! I have a spare bedroom and a couch, and a back house with a futon and a convertible bed depending on the timing of the request. There is quite a bit of space. Sometimes there might be other surfers staying as well. It's not uncommon especially in summertime. The more the merrier! I try to approve 90% of my requests unless I'm out of town! I unfortunately only have time to show you around on the weekends. Disclaimer: This is not Airbnb, this is not a 5 star hotel, this is my home that I'm opening up to you. I try to cook nearly every night and always will invite you for a meal. If you like to board game or play video games, even better...we'll sit down for some gaming 😉. This is a home where you'll find random laughter and positive vibes and hopefully have a memorable experience!

I joined this great community on March 20th, 2006. CURRENT MISSION "Thinking globally, acting locally" PHILOSOPHY Life may be full of pain at times, but even then, it lets you know you're still alive. If I want a worldly perspective, then I'll go to a part of it and take in the live perspective to really gain knowledge from it.
I prefer staying in austere conditions than nice hotels or resorts. Big part of it is because I have a passion for disaster relief. I’ve created enough of my own disasters in life, so it is now time to give back. I have volunteered and worked for several agencies that allow me to deploy to places I would never think about going. I’m a lifelong learner (literally). Have been in school my entire life and still am in school (as a professor and student). I believe I can learn from anyone I meet, especially couchsurfer and hosts. CURRENT MISSION Enjoy life ABOUT ME I WOULD LOVE TO HOST PEOPLE WITH PREFERABLY HOSTING REFERENCES SO I CAN GIVE BACK TO THE DESERVING PEOPLE THAT ARE ACTIVE IN THE CS COMMUNITY AND NOT ONLY SIGNED UP FOR A FREE HOTEL.... It is OK if you only found out about CS before traveling, but my advice to you is to make at least the effort to go to CS meet-ups before or during your trip to get some personal references and get to know the CS community. If I decline your Couch Request it is probably because you don't have any hosting references, or simply because I am already having a guest. We get so many requests in the LA area, and sorry, but often I don't have the time to add a message when declining. About Me: I have German and Pakistani origins growing up in Germany and living now in the US. I am a teacher and love my job not only because it is rewarding, but also because it gives me 3 month out of the year free to travel :-) I like to travel to places I have not been yet, connect with locals and discover their secret spots and food. In my free time I like to socialize and have good food. I try to keep myself active with yoga, hikes, and dancing. I am very good in keeping myself busy I actually never get bored there are so many things that I like to do and have not tried yet. PHILOSOPHY Treat others the way you want to be treated, with respect, kindness, and positive vibes and have the courage to standup for others that are being treated unfairly. Judge a person by their character and merrit and not by their race, gender, sexual preference, religion, social status, education and other irrelevant things. I support diversity and at the same time uniqueness of each individual. I prefer to be around genuine people rather than superficial. And last but not least face life with lots of humor.
I took my first solo trip to Mexico City and it completely changed my perspective on traveling. I'm in love with exploring new places as much as I am able to, take in all the sights, and learn new things. I don’t drink but I like a good mocktail! Anything pretty will usually do it for me in terms of drinks or food. Love: Jazz, live music, outdoor activities, eating good food.
Hey there! This is Naz, an easygoing and open-minded traveler who loves meeting new people and sharing great conversations. I genuinely enjoy being kind and making people feel comfortable. Dancing, especially salsa, is one of my biggest passions—so if there’s music, you might just find me on the dance floor! I believe life is short, and we should live it with positivity, kindness, and an open heart. That’s why I always try to go with the flow, enjoy the little moments, and make meaningful connections wherever I go. Whether it’s exchanging travel stories, exploring new places, or just having a good laugh over a meal, I’m always up for an adventure and great company. Looking forward to meeting fellow travelers and making unforgettable memories!
I am a Ukrainian woman who resides in the USA., Seal Beach , California. I am 60 years old I would love to explore new places in the USA and outside of the country. I am not fully retired yet but I have lots of time on hands to travel I am also curious about meeting new people, making friends, and learning new languages.
I’ve spent the last 15 years building companies, exploring 40+ countries, and collecting stories. Born in California, based in Medellín, but I feel most at home on the road and on the tip of the spear... I’m into deep conversations, good coffee, ancient history, spontaneous road trips, and anything that feels real. An unplanned viscous cultural experience is what I live for. I'd love to learn your language and see the world through your eyes. I’ve hosted travelers, surfed couches, and had life-changing chats with strangers over street food. If you're around, let’s grab a coffee or a drink…tell me your story, I’ll tell you mine, and maybe we’ll leave with a new fun memory.
I love traveling and exploring many beautiful places around the world. I like nature and outdoors and spending time by the beach as well as exploring different cultures and different countries!!
I live with two other people in my own home located in the suburban city of La Mirada, 16 miles southeast of Los Angeles and 6 miles west of the famous Disneyland of Southern California in the County of Orange. Access to bus and other public transport is a few yards away; 15 miles to the beach. I just retired working as a Civil Engineer for a local government agency. I am interested in couchsurfing to be connected to people around the world. I can host and I am looking for a host in other places. I love to explore the nature's beauty. I have traveled by car mostly the western United States up to Vancouver, the mid-states to the northeast of Canada, and the northeastern US. I have visited London and the UK, Paris, Venice-Bologna-Rome in Italy, Vienna Austria, Prague, Sydney and Melbourne. I would like to go and visit the Southeast Asia and the Scandinavian countries. I hope to visit South America. I have worked and lived in Saudi Arabia. I have been hosting only since I joined CS. Lately, I have a few requests from new members which provided me an unpleasant experience. IF YOU ARE NEW AND HAVE NOT HOSTED, please make sure your profile is complete and convincing and that you are not only asking for a free bed! READ YOUR HOST'S PROFILE before requesting for accommodation! I am an open minded and a just person.
CURRENT MISSION to enjoy life while learning about the world around me ABOUT ME I'm a responsible, mature, independent, non-smoker/drinker I work at a medical device company (having trained in biomedical research and clinical medicine). When I have my own place again, I'll be happy to host :) I started hosting couchsurfers (mostly women) as a student in Boston
