I am a designer working remotely💻 Since I can work without being in Kyoto, I have made it my life's work to stay in various cities around the world to understand their cultures and people. Other recent efforts include - Digitization of the medical industry; we are focusing our UI design projects on the medical field. - Learning about the universe. There's still so much we don't know about space! I would love to be an astronaut. - I want more people to experience different parts of the world like us.

Vegans, vegetarians, Muslims, and smokers, please do not message me! We have different values. I do not drink alcohol. I am not a vegetarian or Muslim, so I do not know any vegetarian or halal restaurants in Kyoto. I cannot go out to eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner with you. sorry. No smoking I will take you to my favorite lunch. There are areas in Kyoto where you are fined for smoking. My favorite lunch place is in an area where you are fined for smoking. Thanks to me setting the rules, I have been able to continue Couchsurfing for a long time. "Yes, that’s right. I wrote it in a strong way on purpose. I’ve been using Couchsurfing for 20 years, and during that time I’ve met many vegetarians, vegans, and halal travelers. Based on all those experiences, I chose to be very clear about my preferences. In Japan, it’s often difficult for vegetarians, vegans, halal travelers, and non-restricted eaters to enjoy the same restaurant together. I’ve experienced this many times, and I’ve often had to change plans or spend a lot of time trying to accommodate different dietary requirements. So, if you are vegetarian, vegan, require halal food, drink alcohol, or smoke, I’d kindly ask you to meet with another Couchsurfer instead of me. I wrote this clearly because I believe it’s the best way for both of us to have a happy and enjoyable experience, with no hard feelings." Some couchsurfers send me messages saying, “I love your profile!” I really appreciate that. However, if our lifestyles or values are different, I think it may be better for both of us to meet other people and enjoy our time. In the past, I have changed my plans many times after meeting couchsurfers who told me, “Actually, I’m vegetarian,” “I’m vegan,” or “I need halal food.” This is why I wrote my preference clearly in my profile. I am not rejecting vegetarians, vegans, or people who need halal food. I respect everyone’s choices. However, I don’t usually go to restaurants with people who have these dietary requirements because I don’t know suitable restaurants. Many foreign visitors do not realize that in Japan, many restaurants still do not have vegetarian, vegan, or halal-friendly menus. Some people assume that it is easy to find restaurants that can accommodate these diets, but the reality is that it can be difficult depending on the area and the restaurant. I want to avoid situations where someone expects to enjoy a meal together, but we cannot find a suitable place. That is why I prefer to be honest from the beginning. If our preferences are different, I hope we can both find people who share our interests and have a wonderful experience in Japan. Subway One-Day Pass: 800 yen.
