I think the first thing I can say about me is that I'm a curious person. I like to discover and learn new things just as much as traveling and share with other people around me ! Also, I'm quite sensible, and speaking about Art is always something I appreciate. I like to go on parties to but most of the time I'm much of a chill person.

Hello, I'm Calum from the beautiful Isle of Skye, in the north west of Scotland. Currently travelling in the West of the United States. I am friendly, passionate and like to smile a lot. I love sharing and hearing people's stories. I'm very straight-talking, and pretty emotionally chilled. I have very recently got married and moved to the Isle of Skye (although still a student in Glasgow). Previously I've worked with asylum seekers in Glasgow, in development overseas and in ESOL education. We house share with which sadly means we don't have a home to share. This is difficult as I love hosting and welcoming people to my wonderful home country - Scotland. I'm also brand new to Skye so not got a lot of knowledge (yet!). CURRENT MISSION I want to meet and make friends with people from around the world! Please read my profile before sending a request! ABOUT ME Hey, welcome to my profile. After travelling a bit in Canada many years ago using couchsurfing, I decided to host travellers back at home. Since then I have hosted lots of really cool people and am totally addicted to the site! I live in the most beautiful part of Scotland with my dog Toivo, and you should definitely think about visiting if you're interested in nature and wild places. Couchsurfing seems to think I live on the Isle of Skye which is about 1-2 hours drive away. Just so you know, I actually live in Applecross which has virtually no public transport so you will need your own car. Google it, we have some impressive mountain roads and we are pretty remote. The nearest supermarket is in Dingwall (1.5 hours) or Kyle of Lochalsh (1 hour) although there is a small, expensive local shop which has essentials. I get quite a few messages from people who haven't read this so please tell me your favourite animal in your opening line to prove you have read this and realise where I am! :)
