Hello! My name is Michał. I originally come from Poland. I love exploration! I’m especially into solo traveling but nothing makes me excited more about it than getting to know likeminded people on the way. Each journey motivates me more and more to discover every part of our wonderful planet.
Hello there! <can’t host - sorry> I'm Alicja, and what a pleasure it is to meet you c: I've called four countries home: England, Germany, Hungary, and Poland, wandered through a fair few more scattered across Europe, studied Games Development and 3D Animation, spent time as a QA Engineer, and am now taking a gentle breath of mountain air in my beloved little village. Languages? I speak Polish (complete with the lilting local Góralski dialect), English, a smattering of German, and the tiniest whisper of Russian. I find myself endlessly drawn to the beautiful contradictions of life - mornings bent over circuit boards and lines of code, afternoons running barefoot through the forest collecting four-leaf clovers. I have a soft spot for anything fluffy, a quiet fascination with anything creepy, and a deep fondness for bouldering, all things sci-fi, all things gothic, wonderfully boring things, fine art, cinematography, and -non-negotiably - roasted sesame on absolutely everything. A bit of a geek, a bit of a dreamer, a bit of a glorious oddity. In every city I pass through, I make it my solemn duty to visit the essential museum, track down the most unnecessarily extravagant café, and sniff out wherever the night comes alive. I can't offer a spare room in Zakopane, but if some wonderfully lost soul happens to drift this way, I do hope I can be their guide.
We are a married couple working in the HORECA sector in the Podhale region. Together with my wife, we run a regional restaurant; I work in marketing and event organization. We love spending our free time traveling and socializing, and we enjoy meeting new people. We would be happy to help you plan your time in the Zakopane area.
