Updated June 2025 Just graduated with my master's in psychology from Lund, southern Sweden. I lived there for one year, and celebrated with a two month cycle tour through Germany and Italy. (Did I mention last year was awesome?) After graduating I hopped over to Thailand for a 3 month internship at a drug and alcohol rehab center. That's definitely the most intense thing I've done in my life - one of those situations where I am so happy I went for it and I never want to do that again hah Couchsurfing played a large role in restoring my faith in humanity. Although I cannot host, I'm interested in swapping stories while going on a hike or walking around downtown. I'm much more of a "deep talks in the morning" and not a "party at night" kind of person. CURRENT MISSION to figure it all out, and then forget. ABOUT ME I collect honey, aprons, and paperclips. I wear my shoes until there's a hole in the bottom. My life is centered around creation and exploration, and I know that as long as I live I will never cease to do either. I don't like to plan anything out concretely and my favourite moments are those that are spontaneous, surprising, and impulsive. Since graduating from university, I have been trying to continue my education through my experiences, and to throw myself into those situations that my normal, timid self would usually shy away from. On a bus ride, I recently wrote in my notebook: 'I keep getting a heavy, sad pain in my chest.....the kind you get when you realize the universe is filled with amazing and beautiful things that you absolutely will never know or see...this feeling is how I know I can't run home yet, not yet... When I travel, I usually travel alone, mostly because the discovery of new friends along the journey is the best part. If I happen to meet someone who is going the same direction as me for a period of time then I enjoy the company, and someone to share the memories with. Life is beautiful that way. I grew up on the Central Coast of California, halfway between LA and SF and I moved back after calling San Francisco home for 11 years. Growing up I spent a lot of time outdoors, hiking camping and still really enjoy all those activities today.

Born and raised in Switzerland, loved it, but wanted a new adventure. Moved in AZ in 10/22 and CA in 06/23. Living on the central coast has been pretty amazing so far. Love traveling: getting to know other cultures, meeting wonderful human beings, learning languages, seeing some amazing places, and tasting some savory vegetarian food from all over the world... but hate the carbon emissions of planes, like we all..
