I just returned to live in my hometown of Santa Barbara, where I am looking to ground myself and start getting involved in the community. I am also planning to start a nature pre-school! I'm interested in the out-of-the-ordinary. I am into many different art forms and music, especially dancing - I love to start dance parties at the schools I teach at! I’m from Toronto, Canada, and am working towards my astrophysics PhD in Santa Barbara, California! I build and test telescopes that’re searching for Earth 2.0.

I’m about people, experiencing local culture, music, food, and daily life and building real connections more than chasing landmarks. More about quieter, more meaningful experiences — walking around town, local music, meals, and relaxed environments. I love trains. Hate masks. I’m a trail runner, distance and elevation hiker, gardener, horticulturist, and arborist. I also spent years as a firefighter. Daily is morning coffee x3, a solid run or hike, then good food, a hot bath or hot springs, relaxing with a movie Tv, and resting about 10. I don’t drink or smoke (anything) and not in to being around it. I value respectful communication, open listening, and mutual respect. I’ve traveled extensively and appreciate different cultures, religions, customs, and histories. I accept good things from all traditions without needing everyone to agree on everything. I’m open minded , unwoke and value true freedom of choice and critical thinking. Hosting single people over 40 but open to all good people, Not into politics or drinking, people that wanna get drunk, smoking, and no pot. Currently traveling in the USA, but often traveling internationally as well. Currently planning trips to Colombia and East Africa for work this year - maybe Brasil or Mexico as well. I'm passionate about ecological restoration and regenerative agriculture. I work for a non-profit that teaches farmers techniques that help the land and increase food sovereignty. If you enjoy climbing, backpacking, or getting outside - even better! I also love dancing, mostly bachata but salsa as well. I want to learn guitar, pottery, sewing, and more yoga.

My bookshelf contains satires, dramas, biographies, and whimsical comedies, many of which I picked up at various airport bookstores. I love movies, but don't own many. I make a point never to let anyone know what's in my music playlist. I had to get new pages added to my passport because I ran out of room for visas eight years before it was due to expire. I love cafes and bars and everything about them. I like museums, too. And parks. PHILOSOPHY Live and let live. Enjoy yourself, enjoy others, and enjoy the world around you.
