We are a couple in our 30's (Joni and Kevin). We've been best friends since 8th grade, so you know the vibes are right! We're currently starting our family, so for now, it's just the two of us. I'm a Mental Health Counselor with a passion for creative arts (photography, interior design, and dancing) and all-things consciousness. Kevin is a Software Engineering manager with a love for philosophy, history, and trail running. We are both appreciators of culture and human connection in general! We love learning and being outside! On the weekends, you can find us watering our plants, exploring the beautiful mountains of southern Utah, or spending time with family.

My background spans photography, video editing, writing, digital marketing, and product development, with experience managing creative projects from concept to release. This is the last time in write this and im sticking to it. I could tell you about how I spent my twenties crashing out falling in love with all the wrong women. Which kinda spilled over into my thirties. Or I can even tell you about the amount of work I've done on myself over the past six yrs. But honestly I would rather just spend time doing the things I love & live for. As I make my way to Florida. So when I'm exploring/visiting these new places along the way. It would be nice to have a coffee with someone every now & again.

Devout Latter-day Saints (aka Mormons), so our home is free of tobacco, drugs, alcohol, and porn. We love to learn about your home and your experiences. We will eat vegan or vegetarian during your visit if it makes you more comfortable. Bud's a regular guy who likes to meet new people. He enjoys mtn. biking, hiking in the desert,and adventures of all kinds. He's also a pretty good cook and enjoy preparing meals for others. Looks forward to your visit! We both work full time but sometimes we can get away to show you around. We have a washer, dryer, and clotheslines, so if you need to do laundry, bring it in when you arrive and we'll send you on your way with fresh clothes! The nearest major airport is Las Vegas; the shuttle bus costs about $35 one-way and takes 2 hrs to get here. PHILOSOPHY Our purpose on earth is to love one another. We like to offer people a safe haven while traveling. We have been "first hosts ever" for many of our guests and we hope to leave a great impression of Couchsurfing for them!

I love to learn about people and their stories. Everyone has something to share: directions, a funny anecdote or a good song. I grew up in a town of 75 in Ohio—I double the population when I'm back in town—and now live in southern Utah. The views here are just like a postcard! I work in external communications and have experience in the food/beverage, airline and healthcare industries. I love hitting the pavement in new places: I've been to 48 states and counting! My apartment is in downtown St. George and a 15 minute walk from the restaurants and shops, including a new brewery that opened in a converted firehouse. The apartment has beautiful kitchen and back balcony views of the Red Cliffs. 🏜 I have two roommates, and we work varying schedules. You may see them! I have a National Parks Pass. Let me know if you want to explore one of the parks in the area! We love to try your favorite brews and dishes from your area. If you also have a favorite recipe, please share it! I have enjoyed receiving many from past couchsurfers and have room for many more in the recipe box. Please do let me know a general time that I may expect you. I understand travel plans can change and fluctuate, but I have before changed my own plans for surfers only to have them not show. We love to host during the week but cannot always accommodate late arrivals due to our work schedules.
