CURRENT MISSION Travel the world and document what I find through word, photographs, and video. ABOUT ME I'm currently working as a TV photojournalist based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and, like many on here, I have a penchant for traveling! I'd like to end up someday working as a foreign correspondent for US media - so America knows what's going on in the rest of the weird, wonderful world. I like traveling, beer, good music (see below), the issues and effects surrounding legal 420 (I am from Colorado, after all), meeting new people, learning about other cultures, going places I shouldn't, developing my own film, riding bikes, and adventuring in the wilderness. I've also recently taken up kayaking, so if you're into kayak/canoe/SUPing, let's get out on the water!

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I'm a Couchsurfing O.G.; member since 2007. I've crashed on couches from Seattle to Prague. Haven't had the good fortune of hosting yet (my schedule gets hectic), but hopefully that will change.

Lehren, Lernen, Teilen
I know a teachable amount about: - photography - video production - journalism in its various forms - travel logistics (I can book you pretty much anything short of the Transsiberian) - computer hardware and how to build/repair it - light coding (mostly OS level terminal stuff, primarily OS X/Linux but some Windows) - DIY automobile mechanics (mostly Subaru but some BMWs and Hondas also) I would love to learn more about: - Linguistics - Botany - Medicine - Audio engineering - Cooking - Outdoors/wilderness skills - FLYING (if you can hook me up w flying lessons/plane rides we will be besties forever)
Was ich mit Hosts teilen kann
Anything I know and a great deal of enthusiasm for the places I visit!
