HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING My couch is almost always available. And I use couchsurfing occasionally to find overnight accomodations when I'm traveling, and to meet new people. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've hosted lots of interesting people from around the world who were traveling through my cities! I also stayed once with a host in Los Angeles and had a nice experience.

Standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon. From forty feet away, you can't even see the canyon is there, and then in the last ten steps it just appears before your eyes. Skydiving over a field in Washington. Exploring the underground city beneath the sidewalks in Seattle. (The city was raised up one by one street level in the 1800's, and the original sidewalks and stores are still there, buried underground.)
