Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Gladly welcome surfers and would be happy to show them around the Catskills area. You can walk to the town and hiking trails from here. I am surrounded by beautiful farm country as well as mountains. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far mainly hosting but even that is quite interesting. I get to meet lots of interesting people from whom I learn much and I am even getting to know my own city better!
Musik, Filme und Bücher
Books: Pretty much anything regarding modern history and technology. Movies: Into the Wild, Amazing Grace, Gettysburg, Saving Private Ryan
Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
Traveling around Utah and Alaska which have spectacular natural beauty. Love to do two week summer driving trips which is the only way to truly see and appreciate the U.S. One such trip from NYC to Ohio, through Indiana and Missouri, down to Texas and the Mexican border, back up through Louisiana and Mississippi and finally back to NYC was the best single trip of my life.

Really love museums, and in particular museums related to national history and industry and technology. Favorite museums in the US are the Henry Ford museum in Detroit, the U.S. Air Force museum in Dayton, Steam Town in Scranton, the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry, the Smithsonian museum of American History, and the Lowell National Historical Park.
