Hey! I’m Ethan – a visual storyteller, dancer, traveler, and creative soul chasing rhythm, connection, and unforgettable moments around the world. I was born in Aleppo, where I first picked up a camera to capture beauty. When the war began, that lens became my way of telling the truth. As a photojournalist, I documented courage, pain, and resilience. It changed how I saw everything – and lit a fire in me to keep chasing the real, the raw, the human. Now? I live on the move. I travel from country to country, filming festivals, creating documentaries, and dancing in unexpected places. I run a media company called Creative Resonance, built on one belief: a memory happens once, but we keep it alive. I use filmmaking, photography, and creative direction to tell stories that matter – stories that breathe. I also founded Dancify – a global platform bringing dancers together through videos, events, and meaningful connections. Think of it as a movement for movement. On my YouTube channel, I share everything from festival walk-throughs and artist interviews to magical social dance moments caught on film. My backpack carries cameras, cables, and a love for adventure. My heart carries stories. And my feet follow the music, wherever it leads.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
Because this world is too big, too wild, and too beautiful to experience alone. I don’t just want a place to sleep – I want to meet people who light up rooms, who love telling stories, who know their city in ways no guidebook ever could. Couchsurfing is where the magic lives: shared meals, spontaneous adventures, and connections that often last longer than the trip itself.

Eine tolle Sache, die ich getan habe
Survived and documented four years of war in Aleppo with only a camera in hand. My photos became a voice for people who had none. I was honored when LiveWIRE Journal listed Aleppo as the most dangerous city in the world – and I was still there, telling stories and sending them out to the world.
Lehren, Lernen, Teilen
Teach I can teach you how to dance Bachata or Salsa, how to use your phone or camera like a pro, or how to tell a story through video. I also love sharing insights about building creative projects, starting YouTube channels, or launching platforms like Dancify and Creative Resonance. Learn I love learning new languages, hearing people’s stories, and picking up local customs – from dance steps to food rituals to philosophies on life. Share I’m happy to share my creativity, storytelling, photography, and my experience traveling and working in festivals across the world. And if we vibe, maybe even a video or a memory worth keeping.

Meine Interessen
I’m passionate about anything that lets me express, move, or connect. I dance (mainly bachata), I write, I film, I travel – and I try to mix all of them wherever I go. Whether I’m shooting a festival, dancing with strangers in a new city, or getting lost with my camera, I’m most alive when I’m creating something real. I love exploring different cultures through food, movement, and storytelling. Photography is my lifelong companion, and I find a strange kind of magic in making videos that capture the feeling of a place, not just the look.
