COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far, so good! I've hosted 5 people through the CS community this far, and all were very nice and respectful, and we had a good time. I have met and hosted many others through the years in other settings than CS though and generally have good experiences. I have I'm more of the "host kind of person" than the surfing kind myself, but I am always interested in meeting likeminded and interesting people and locals whereever I go.

Goodness there are so many, can't even start to list them here... I'll give it a shot. Movies: LOTR trilogy is my ultimate favorite. Genres I like include: action, sci-fi, fantasy, thriller, gore, crime, non-english, alternative. Books: I don't think I have a favorite book, but I enjoy thrillers, I enjoy Middle Eastern literature and I enjoy social dramas. Music: Metal (mostly black, death, folk, heavy, symphonic), Scandinavian folk musik, Persian folk music, Celtic, Classical.
