I'm Irish, from Dublin, but have been in Korea on/off for the past five years. Currently teaching (in Gangnam and living in Haebangchon area of) Seoul. I wasn't responding to messages/requests for a while for various reasons (hence the low response time) but I'm open to hosting again now.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
Having friends around the world makes it seem comfortingly smaller, friendlier and more accessible. I hosted quite a lot back in Busan a few years ago and a couple of times in Suwon. I've met lovely people through Couchsurfing in Indonesia, Japan, Romania, England, and plenty more places in between.

Bill Callahan/Smog The Wicker Man, Withnail & I. Steve Martin in The Jerk HP Lovecraft, J.M. Synge, Flannery O'Connor, Raymond Carver, Cormac McCarthy & southern gothic/short stories. I'm reading lots of non-fiction these days though
