CURRENT MISSION Travel the world, meet new people. ABOUT ME I've traveled to 92 countries on 6 continents and have lived in 4 countries on 3 continents. I've spent the last 15 years back in my hometown of Columbus, Ohio, but am getting itchy feet and want to do more traveling! I love my home city and am very familiar with it and love to play host and show off its best features to new visitors! PHILOSOPHY Human beings are very diverse, but the great majority of us have essentially the same needs and wants. Love to look at the world through other people's eyes and learn from their experiences and perspectives. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you! I enjoy getting to meet people of all ages, cultures, religions, you name it! Everyone has something interesting to offer!

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Well, since joining in 2010, I've really gotten into couchsurfing big time! I've taken part in a variety of local events here in Columbus, including the Columbus Couch Crashes back in June 2011 and 2012, which were amazing! We hosted 6 guests in one week. So far in 2011 and 12, we've hosted over 60 couch surfers in Columbus, Ohio! Who would ever guess Columbus is so popular? In 2011, I went to 11 countries in Europe and surfed in the homes of 11 couchsurfers! It was our first real couchsurfing trip, and it went absolutely amazingly well! It was the dream couchsurfing trip! Every wonderful thing you've ever heard about couchsurfing came true for us! I don't think we'd ever want to travel without couchsurfing again! COUCHSURFING IS AMAZING! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE See above!

So many I can't even think. It's hard to single any out. I definitely love movies though, and used to read books voraciously before the internet came along. I like reading anything that transports me to another place or time, especially science fiction, fantasy and historical pieces.

I love to cook and am in real estate, so I know most of the neighborhoods of Columbus very well. I love to get out and about and see my city and love to show people around. I know many good restaurants. I can speak fluent German and hold a basic conversation in Spanish and always happy to share my knowledge. My biggest hobby and former livelihood is computers, so I know much about technology in general. I'm always up for learning about almost anything! Bring it on!
