CURRENT MISSION To have adventures and find someone to pay me for them. ABOUT ME I'm currently working for an international development organization, spreading democracy to the world's benighted masses. But that's not nearly as cool as it sounds, so I'm looking for my next adventure. PHILOSOPHY I'm an atheist with a soft spot for religious people. I'm easygoing and sarcastic, tolerant and irreverent. I'm rarely asleep before 3 in the morning. I think the pursuit of knowledge and the pursuit of beauty are the most honorable occupations. I often wear mismatched socks, and I have double-jointed elbows.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've had a steady stream of guests since I signed up; all have bought me alcohol, some have cleaned my kitchen, and most have been interesting to talk to.

I'll teach you another language, have a deep and meaningful philosophical conversation with you, beat you at a game of chess, ping-pong, or truth and dare, or just drink you under the table. I would teach you to navigate using only the stars as a guide, but I don't actually have any idea how to do that.
