Hi there! I’m Laura, an English language professor with a love for exploring the world through people, food, and nature. I am currently traveling with my wonderful dog, Cosmo, who always stays with me. 🐾 I am making my way through Italy while studying online before heading to Ireland at the beginning of July where I will continue my studies. My interests include languages, cinematography, hiking, nature, animals, dancing, politics (I am very anti-Trump), conversation, social justice, cooking, and more. Whether I am a guest or a host, I like to find a good balance between socializing, recharging and studying. As an English professor with several years of experience, I am happy to offer some tips and corrections for your English language learning. I’m also happy to cook, help around the house some, look after your pets, etc. I’m a quiet and respectful guest with enough experience to be mindful of what the optimal experience is for both host and guest. PHILOSOPHY Help others, learn from your mistakes and enjoy life. I am a bit of a minimalist and believe more in accumulating experiences rather than possessions. My long-term goal is to one day establish a small school and sanctuary for both people and animals.
