Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE It's going down! I think establishing the couchsurfing community was a brilliant idea. I very much enjoying all sorts of people! Some of them just let you stay in their apartment (in Amsterdam) without bothering! Most often you spend hilarious times with couchsurfers. I have been enjoying with these open-minded and easy going peers ever since.
Musik, Filme und Bücher
Every kind of music is interesting! I'm curious to listen to any kind of music! My favorite music is: RJD2, German bands like Mutabor..., Kaminer, Bob Marley... oh there is a lot of music in which I'm interested in:-)!! Elektro and chorus as well as Drum n' Bass or guitar music. It depends totally on the atmosphere!! My favorite movie are maybe: Clockwork orange, Blow, PI, Magnolia and so on... Once I saw a movie and two weeks pass I cannot remember anything! Weird!! I'm very interested in reading, but ther is no special book I would prefer! I like John Grisham, Hermann Hesse, Paulo Coelho, Patrick Sueskind, Umberto Eco or Kenn Follet, Thoreau!!

The Amazon rainforest and the Himalaya mountain forest was stunning, my work in Chennai slums and my work with African governance. Scary things: I got stabbed during field work - my everyday life is an adventure itself.
Lehren, Lernen, Teilen
I will be lecturing at the University of Namibia next year - Human - and Biogeography, GIS in wildlife management and Economics in Ecotourism. For now, I draw some skills from my back-to-the-roots life in Africa and my studies. Moreover, I have a vast amount of experiences, i.e. from clandestine stuff till policy making.
Meine Interessen
As a naughty character I am naturally very curious. That's what keeps me travelling, working and studying in different places. I very much enjoy people and their (natural and social) environment, especially if they are from very different cultural background - sharing ideas and insights is of utmost importance in today's world. Moreover, the Global South is mesmerizing, I am interested in the green economy and science related to it.
