CURRENT MISSION To explore the world vicariously through couch surfing friends, to broaden my world view, and to meet that special someone. ABOUT ME I'm from LA, but don't know LA that well. I have many things that I want to do and have trouble choosing between them (time-wise). I am interested in meeting new people from different parts of the world, that are doing different things with their lives. I have no shame in shooting off a long series of questions if I find the person really interesting. I talk fast and like cutting straight to the issue. My mind always goes in many places at once. People say "I think too much". If I belong somewhere (like a friend's party), I can talk to everyone in the room. But at a bar, I have trouble starting a conversation. I'm a fairly closed person, but I'm good at answering questions. PHILOSOPHY For me, life is mostly mental. By that I mean that what you see is only part of what is there. It's like when you are designing something and you can see it clearly in your head, but you can't get your hands to reproduce it. I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt because I don't always trust my perceptions of people. It takes me an hour or so to "click" with someone, but it's more of a mental barrier. With trust, many, many things are possible.
