CURRENT MISSION British guy wandering around Spain. ABOUT ME I am an energetic and friendly person. I have had a deep interest in Buddhism, yoga, and meditation since travelling in India. I am veggie and like good food, travel, and learning from what life throws at me.. Recently, I have just finished up working in Saudi Arabia. As an English teacher, I tend to move around quite a lot, and I will be spending some time in Barcelona this year. PHILOSOPHY To go with the flow of life, and to learn from it.

Warum ich auf Couchsurfing bin
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING To be available as and when if possible. *Please note that I usually need 1-2 weeks' notice in order to host.* I realise that surfers who have similar interests and rhythms to me usually work best when I am hosting. I like walking around the city in the late afternoon/evening. I like to go out to eat in the evenings (not every evening). If you are ready to go out salsa dancing that is also a bonus (not essential) as sometimes I come back late. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Very positive so far.
Musik, Filme und Bücher
Books: Buddhist, New Age, William Gibson, Dostoyevsky, Kafka and Paul Auster amongst others.. Specific titles that made an impact: Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda, Miracle of Mindfulness by Thich Nhat Hahn, and The First and Last Freedom by Krishnamurti. Music: Americana - folk, country, blues, hill and alternative rock. Shovel & Rope, Israel Nash and The Black Keys. Salsa, salsa. Nick Cave, Belle & Sebastian, Zutons, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, Zero-7, Oasis. Latin music.

Eastern thought: Buddhism, Indian religion, art, philosophy, and alternative therapy i.e. Ayurveda. Writing: I research and write articles on religion, spirituality and learning English. Vegetarian lifestyle: into organic food and healthy eating. Dance: salsa - a lifestyle in itself.
