CURRENT MISSION Introduce Singlish to the world ABOUT ME My mission is to introduce Singlish to the whole world. Singlish is an English-based creole language native to Singapore. It is the first language of many younger Singaporeans, especially those whose parents do not share a native language or dialect, and is the second language of nearly all the rest of the country's residents. (Kop from Wikipedia one) I can tell you about Singapore beyond what's written on Lonely Planet(nono...this is just an exaggeration...), beyond what you see, and beyond what you hear. I can even tell you what's in the mind of our politicians. (Oops, just joking. Taboo topic. Sensitive) English is my first language BUT mine is generally worse off than most undergraduate (is it did or do? is or are?)I keep failing my spelling test when I'm in elementary school and I remember how elated I was on that day (totally regretting now) My project mates have to edit my grammar but they love the content....I think. PHILOSOPHY Who said you shouldn't be traveling if you don't have money? I come from a humble background but still, able to travel. I don't see why people can't travel with little cash. Seriously. Come to Singapore and I'd show you show affordable things can be. And whoever doesn't understand the need for camera during traveling, I say, perhaps you've got power memory. Pictures are meant to be shared, be remembered. 10 years down the road, I'd only remember the pictures, not the experience. Experience are meant to be forgotten, those that you remember, are illusions.
