Hi! I’m Abbas, originally from Iran and now living in Toronto (Etobicoke). I work full-time as an engineering and love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and sharing stories over tea (or beer) I used to be very active on Couchsurfing years ago and hosted many travelers in Iran. Now that I’m settled in Canada, I’m happy to reconnect with the community again.

I believe in hospitality, cultural exchange, and helping travelers feel at home. Couchsurfing has always been a meaningful part of my life, and I’m happy to offer support to people visiting Toronto.

In 2008, a friend and I took an overland journey from Tehran through Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon. We crossed borders, explored ancient cities, and met people whose kindness shaped the way I see the world. It’s bittersweet to know that such a trip is no longer possible today.
